2016 Residential Building Stock Assessment

Taking stock of residential energy use

Supported by the region’s electric utilities, NEEA is conducting a comprehensive research study of energy efficiency in Northwest residential buildings – officially called the Residential Building Stock Assessment (RBSA). This study will inform future energy planning efforts, as well as energy efficiency utility programs and rebates offered by the region’s utilities, the Energy Trust of Oregon and the Bonneville Power Administration.

NEEA has hired an energy consulting and research firm (Cadmus) and its subcontractors (Nexant and ADM Associates) to conduct this research study.

If you have received a letter from us, we encourage you to participate in the online survey by visiting www.NEEASurvey.org. Please note that you will need your survey ID number when registering online.

How can I identify the technician coming to my home?

The onsite visit is strictly for research purposes; we will not attempt to sell you anything. We will handle the information we collect securely and confidentially. The information will be reported in summary and will never be specific to an individual home.

If you have been selected to take part in an onsite home energy visit, you can view pictures of all of our technicians here.
