David Clement is the senior economist for NEEA. He works on estimating future electricity and natural gas cost-effectiveness, end use load research, performance metrics for carbon and capacity savings, and analytical support for the NEEA strategic planning process.

His previous experience includes leading Integrated Resource Planning and Load Forecasting at Seattle City Light, leading the Electric Transmission and Western Energy Services for Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA), and managing corporate strategic planning at PacifiCorp.

He holds a B.A. in Economics from University of Oregon and a M.S. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from Oregon State University.

In his free time, he enjoys international travel, cross-country and downhill skiing, hiking and backpacking.
