As a Strategic Market Manager for the Commercial Lighting Market with NEEA, Debbie Driscoll leads the development of the overall strategy and infrastructure to support transformation of the region’s commercial lighting market.
After earning her Electrical Engineering degree from NC State in 1996, Debbie joined Lawrence Berkeley Lab’s Energy Efficient Lighting Research Group and later worked with their Energy Performance of Buildings Group. Following her passion for design, she completed her Masters of Engineering in Product Design at Stanford and went on to work at Ziba and other Portland-based design strategy consultancies in a variety of roles: design researcher, product engineer, eco-designer and account director to name a few. Before joining NEEA, Debbie combined her passions for product development and energy efficiency as a Manager with Ecova’s Research and Policy Team where she helped uncover energy efficiency opportunities for network equipment, computers and clothes dryers.
In her free time she loves enjoying great food with her family and friends. She also enjoys training for triathlons and home cheesemaking, two hobbies that balance each other nicely.
