As a Program Manager on NEEA’s Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency Team, Warren helps maximize value delivery to regional stakeholders by executing market transformation programs according to plan and vision.
Warren joined NEEA in early 2013, bringing extensive experience in project and program management from both the private sector and local government. His previous work on energy and sustainable development included developing 500kW of rooftop solar PV, the Clean Energy Works Portland pilot project, the Morrison Bridgehead properties redevelopment, Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) energy efficiency financing program development, and launching a Microlending loan loss reserve fund for Multnomah County. Currently his primary focus is on Strategic Energy Management within NEEA’s Commercial and Industrial SEM Infrastructure program. One of his favorite things about NEEA is the opportunity to learn from and to collaborate with some of the leading minds in the industry.
Among his favorite “energy moments” was hearing cries of “¡Vino la luz!” echo through his remote Peace Corps village in Panama as the town of Ballestilla’s streetlights were lit for the first time. A cum laude graduate from Middlebury College, Warren currently lives in Southeast Portland with his wife Ingrid and two young children. His favorite pastimes include outdoor adventures with his kids, bike commuting, reading novels, basketball and music.
