OUR PURPOSE: To maximize energy efficiency.

Note: The NEEA Strategic Plan and 2010-2014 Business Plan have now been approved by NEEA's Board of Directors.  NEEA is now in the process of securing the funding.

Drafts and Documents

By nature of its role in the region, NEEA is fully committed to collaboration in all parts of its planning and business operations. The latest strategic planning process was a collaborative, open and iterative one that largely reflects the needs to the region. Throughout the planning process, which has now become the foundation for NEEA's 2010-2014 Business Plan, NEEA posted several drafts of the Strategic Plan for public comment. During this process, NEEA continued to apprise stakeholders of what it heard from the region and how it had responded.

In January 2009, the NEEA Board of Directors adopted the NEEA Strategic Plan to officially "inform" the direction of the 2010-2014 Business Plan. On April 23, 2009, both the NEEA Strategic Plan and the 2010-2014 Business Plan were approved by the Board. NEEA is now in the next phase with its funders to secure funding for the next five years based on the 2010-2014 Business Plan, and will then resume operational planning.

Below NEEA has posted the Board-approved Strategic Plan and Business Plan. Make sure to sign up for periodic updates to stay informed of all of NEEA's key collaborative activities in the region.
