Coordinating research-based marketing platforms for the region

As a regional entity, NEEA is able to coordinate significant research and marketing efforts that benefit every utility in the Northwest. The Regional Marketing Coordinating Council, made up of representatives from NEEA and Northwest utilities and energy efficiency organizations, collaborated to create a new, research-based energy efficiency messaging and marketing platform for the Northwest. The Council encourages all Northwest utilities to adapt and use these materials both to increase utility customer interest in energy efficiency, and to motivate their customers to participate in utility-led energy efficiency programs.

Messaging & Style Guide

The purpose of this guide is to provide messaging, visual elements and marketing resources that can be used across the region to substantially increase the number of residents willing to take additional energy efficiency action.

Through the use of consistent messaging and visual elements across the region, we hope to create an echo chamber that amplifies the message and the impact on energy efficiency.
