Request for Proposals: Maximizing Minisplit Performance

NEEA is soliciting proposals for a primary author (Contractor) who can synergize work that has been completed to-date, conduct a market survey of suitable products, and develop a set of “enhancement measures" for Ductless Heat Pump (DHP) systems installed in the Pacific Northwest. The selected Contractor will be the primary author and investigator. NEEA will coordinate monthly (at minimum) conference calls with the Contractor, and a group of utility program staff that have expertise and interest in this topic to provide guidance and feedback for the Contractor.

  • Contractors with field and lab experience with DHPs are encouraged to apply
  • NEEA will not respond to questions prior to the proposal due date
  • Proposals are due by COB, March 2, 2020
  • Finalists will be contacted by March 5, 2020 with final selection determined by March 13, 2020
  • Work to begin on April 1, 2020
