The United States Department of Energy (U.S. DOE), in collaboration with PNNL, supports the Quick Building Assessment Tool (QBAT) for existing building assessments to inform energy efficiency retrofit opportunities. This is a publicly available tool that is intended to provide simplified energy modeling results for a "non-technical expert" audience. QBAT was originally created for schools, and NEEA has been in conversation with PNNL to develop a multifamily building type. NEEA would like to solicit feedback from the Product Council on additional building types of interest, and if interested parties would potentially co-fund development.
