Establishing the Market Baseline for Super-Efficient Dryers

The Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA) engaged Cadmus to establish the market baseline for super-efficient clothes dryers. These clothes dryers, also known as heat pump class clothes dryers, reduce the annual energy use of this second largest energy-using appliance in the typical American home by 40% or more. Over the past several years, NEEA has been working to bring heat pump class clothes dryers to the United States and transform the market.
