The Commissioning in Public Buildings Project seeks to make commissioning standard practice in public buildings in the Northwest (Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana). It is a multiyear effort, launched in 1998 and running through calendar year 2004. Until 2004, the project was coordinated across the four-state region by the Oregon Department of Energy (ODOE – formerly the Oregon Office of Energy, OOE), the Alliance’s prime contractor.
