The Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (Alliance) has sponsored this market assessment and characterization of residential ground source heat pumps (GSHPs) in the Pacific Northwest. The Alliance does not currently provide financial support to projects dealing with residential ground source heat pumps. In order for the Alliance to consider such programs in the future, this objective assessment of the potential for a market transformation program has been undertaken by Regional Economic Research (RER) and Research Into Action (RIA).
