On March 25, 2026, staff from the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA) presented details about the upcoming 2027 Motor System Stock Assessment (MSSA). The webinar presented information on the study’s objectives, sample design, and the beginning of recruitment.

In order to benchmark the region’s industrial energy efficiency work and support Northwest resource and energy efficiency planning, NEEA is conducting the first MSSA on behalf of the region. The MSSA is a regionally representative assessment of motor-driven systems and their characteristics within a number of industrial facility types.
