High-Performance Clothes Dryers Naturally Occurring Baseline Review

The Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA) engaged Research into Action to review and comment on NEEA’s naturally occurring baseline for high-performance clothes dryers in November 2016. After reviewing the model and its assumptions, Research into Action shared that NEEA’s approach to estimating when high-performance clothes dryers entered the market, how quickly they would be adopted, and what the final market penetration of these models would be without NEEA involvement was reasonable. Overall, this model was reviewed by a third-party and found to be effective and appropriate for understanding how high-performance clothes dryers may be adopted by the marketplace without NEEA involvement.
