Presentation covers innovations, challenges, and opportunities in the transition to electrified heating systems using thermal storage. Several system choices will be reviewed from a high-level overview followed by a little deeper into a novel approach to ice storage for enhanced heating performance in a commercial building that includes example analysis with estimated economics and carbon reduction.
