Q3 2026 NGAC Webinar Packet

The Q3 2026 Natural Gas Advisory Committee (NGAC) webinar will feature a review of the program expansion opportunity to add HVAC controls to the existing Luminaire Level Lighting Controls (LLLC) program, including an overview of the current electric LLLC program, the integration pathway between lighting occupancy controls and rooftop unit thermostats, and the planned 2026-27 development activities to advance the opportunity into the gas portfolio. The agenda also includes a Committee Round Robin discussion covering program and personnel changes, current challenges, and how utility activities relate to NEEA’s, alongside housekeeping and looking-ahead items such as the 2027 Operations Planning process and proposed 2027 NGAC meeting dates.

In addition to these focused topics, NEEA staff will provide organizational updates and forward-looking items, including reflections on prior meeting notes and action items and reminders about upcoming events, among them the Navien survey and Product Council, the New & Manufactured Homes work session, the Stakeholder Satisfaction Survey, and the Leadership in Energy Efficiency Awards. The Committee will also receive informational updates on recruitment and data collection for the Dual-Fuel Residential HVAC switchover temperature field study, a reminder on program expansions ahead of the Advanced Performance DOAS milestone vote planned for December, and the Q2 2026 Market Progress Report covering progress toward annual goals across gas and electric programs. Committee members will share updates from their own organizations during the round robin to ensure alignment on regional priorities, challenges, and opportunities.
