On October 17 at the Smart Buildings Center in Seattle, the region held its annual NW SEM Collaborative Fall Workshop to discuss leading approaches to the practice of strategic energy management (SEM). This self-sustaining approach to energy management helps businesses embed long-term energy practices, technologies, and techniques throughout their commercial buildings.
By bringing together 80 of the region's leading SEM experts under one roof, this event provided an invaluable opportunity to share successes, tackle challenges, and pave a path for the future of SEM in the Northwest and beyond. The workshop included a mix of collaborative breakout groups, resource sharing, and brainstorm discussions covering a variety of topics relevant to the shared goal of regional SEM success.
