Luminaire Level Lighting Controls: Energy Efficiency and Non-Energy Benefits Featured in New LLLC Templates

Luminaire Level Lighting Controls (LLLC) are lighting products with wirelessly networked integrated sensors, enabling luminaires within the system to communicate with each other. These systems provide multiple control capabilities in one package, from occupancy and vacancy sensing to daylight harvesting and data transmission, as well as combinations of each.

Utility program managers in the Northwest have identified three priorities to communicate to customers about Luminaire Level Lighting Controls (LLLCs): energy savings, non-energy benefits, and the benefits of LLLCs in specific building types.

To address those messages, the alliance recently introduced three new templates to the LLLC utility toolkit, now available for download and customization. This toolkit offers a variety of customizable marketing materials are available for distributors and utilities to educate customers on the benefits of Luminaire Level Lighting Controls.
