Q1 2019 Quarterly Report
In the first quarter of 2019, the alliance continued to drive market adoption of ductless heat pumps and heat pump water heaters by targeting supply chain barriers and supporting the Northwest installer base. Heat pump water heaters, in particular, represent a sizable portion of estimated savings in the next business cycle (2020-2024). Throughout 2019, the alliance will focus on engaging with water heater installers to address pervasive adoption barriers. This engagement, coupled with strong local program support, is critical to driving regional sales, ensuring continued manufacturer support for this product and, ultimately, influencing the federal standard.
